ISM, a Kyndryl company and one of Western Canada's leading technology services providers, today announced an enhanced hybrid cloud managed service tailored to meet the needs of Canadian organizations as they modernize technology environments while maintaining greater control over data, workloads and AI adoption. The service provides customers with a cohesive hybrid cloud operating model, supported by Kyndryl's global expertise and alliances.
Organizations are increasingly balancing the benefits of cloud innovation with growing requirements around security, compliance, cost management and data sovereignty. The ISM service helps customers choose the right mix of public cloud, private cloud and AI capabilities for their needs, enabling them to modernize while maintaining control over critical workloads and data.

To support growing demand for hybrid cloud and AI services, ISM anticipates a 25 percent increase over the next several years in the number of Western Canadian positions focused on delivering the service. Designed, built, and managed by ISM’s cloud specialists, its private cloud is hosted within SaskTel’s Tier III Data Centre. The partnership with SaskTel brings additional AI computing capabilities powered by SaskTel's GPU-as-a-Service offering. Together, these capabilities help ISM customers accelerate innovation, improve cost predictability and deploy workloads in the environments best suited to their needs.
