The Regina Open Door Society (RODS) is a non-profit organization that provides settlement and integration services to refugees and immigrants in Regina. RODS is committed to meeting the needs of newcomers by offering programs and services that enable them to achieve their goals and participate fully in the larger community.
We volunteer with RODS to help newcomers who are looking for mentorship and a career in the IT industry. One of the interesting events we support is the annual Tech Skills Showcase where we help the teams make their vision come to life and judge the final presentations. We have also been fortunate to hire a few of the people we’ve worked with.
We are proud to support RODS achieve their vision of creating a welcoming community enriched by the diversity and strength of newcomers to Canada.
As the Ukraine war began in April 2022, ISM held a company-wide fundraiser to raise money for war relief efforts, matching donations made by employees. The Canadian Red Cross supports the efforts of its Red Cross Movement partners to provide humanitarian assistance to those affected by the crisis in Ukraine.
Affecting our global community through Kyndryl, ISM began a flood relief fundraiser to send aid to Pakistan during October 2022, matching donations made by employees. The Canadian Red Cross supports programs in Pakistan to re-build and send relief supplies for people who were impacted by floods in Pakistan in early 2022.
As we have employees across many Canadian cities, we take care to make charitable donations in a variety of our local communities directly. Each year, we select local charities to support that align with values & requests of our staff, striving to make a difference for those in need. These are the charities we supported in recent months.
